Creativity in the Northeast

As a Senior advertising student at Boston University’s College of Communications, I’ve had a lot of opportunities to see the wealth of inspiration and motivation the area has to offer. Growing up in a small town in Northern New Jersey, it’s been an amazing opportunity to get to experience the growth and artistry the city of Boston has to offer, while also looking to my roots as a North Star in my work.

In my time at Boston University, I’ve found my love for leadership and Accounts roles in Advertising. As an extrovert who loves to be around people, I like listening and figuring out who everyone is and what makes them tick. Being in a client facing role has given me the opportunity to become a better listener and foster relationships with clients that are built on trust and communication. Every business and client is different, and I love to be the one to decipher their needs and figure out what works for them. Being able to motivate a team and keep the client happy is a goal I strive for daily. For a good Account Executive, I’ve found that the job is never done until everyone has brought their ideas to the table.

In high school, I dedicated myself to art, exploring every course my small public school provided. My passion paid off when I won the senior year art award. Today, drawing and photography remain two my favorite pastimes. Art connects me with people, allowing me to communicate effectively by seeking common ground with my audience. Although I’ve. moved into client facing roles, my creative thinking and eye for design continue to influence my decision making and leadership style in advertising and life.
